Finish & Color Options
The right color can make your shelving feel clean, organized, and built for your space—whether it’s a warehouse, stockroom, office, or public-facing area. Eclipse Shelving offers powder-coated finishes in a wide range of options, so your shelving can match your environment, your brand, or your existing storage.
RAL Color Matching
Already have shelving you’re trying to match? If you have a RAL color code, we can use it to match your existing color as closely as possible so new sections blend in with what you already have. If you don’t know the code, no problem—send us a photo and a little context, and we’ll help you narrow it down.
Not sure what to choose?
Tell us where the shelving is going and what look you want (clean and neutral, high-visibility safety colors, branded colors, etc.). We’re happy to recommend options and make the process easy.

What is RAL?
RAL is a standardized color matching system used worldwide for industrial coatings, paint, and powder coat. Each color has a unique code (example: RAL 7035) so everyone is talking about the same color—no guessing based on names like “light gray” or “orange.”

Why RAL matters for your shelving
Using a RAL code helps you:
-
Match existing shelving so new bays don’t look different
-
Stay consistent across locations (warehouse, office, multiple buildings)
-
Align with branding (company colors, safety colors, department colors)
-

How to find the right RAL match for your project
If you already know the RAL code:
Send us the code (example: “RAL 7035”) and we’ll quote and coat to that target.
If you don’t know the RAL code:
No problem—here are the easiest ways to get close fast:
-
Check your existing shelving or equipment paperwork
Sometimes the RAL code is listed on invoices, spec sheets, or old quotes. -
Ask your maintenance/paint supplier
If your facility has a standard color, they may already have the RAL code on file. -
Use a RAL color selector or printed swatch deck
Screens can be inaccurate, so the best match comes from a physical swatch viewed in your actual lighting. -
Send us photos for guidance
Take a few photos of your current shelving in natural light and indoor light. We can help narrow down likely matches and guide you to the right code. -

Helpful tips (so expectations are clear)
-
Lighting changes color. Warehouse LEDs vs daylight can make the same color look different.
-
Finish matters. Gloss, matte, and texture can change how a color “reads,” even with the same RAL code.
-
Matching is our goal. If you provide a RAL code, we’ll do our best to match it as closely as possible for your project.
